We are looking for a Quality Engineer to work in the Printed Circuit Assembly (PCA) area in Endicott, NY where we manufacture circuit card assemblies (CCA) that support products for commercial and government customers. The Quality Engineer will support both the Power Propulsion Solutions and Control Avionics Solution business areas.
The Quality Engineer will support the manufacturing floor with quality issues, react to key program metrics, participate in root cause and corrective action (RCCA) investigations, drive corrective and preventative actions, and foster continuous improvement culture.
This role will develop, modify, apply and maintain quality evaluation in the manufacturing of CCA for work in progress and finished goods. It is preferred the candidate has experience with CCA manufacturing as well as having knowledge of equipment, assembly components and processes supporting printed circuit board fabrication. Collaborates with engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place. Ensures that corrective measures meet acceptable standards and that documentation is compliant with requirements. May be certified in lean and six-sigma quality engineering methodologies.

- Participate in RCCA with Corrective and Preventative Actions
- Hardware dispositions
- Operator Feedback
- Part issue investigation/ Coordination with SQE (Supplier Quality Engineering)
- Data Trending
- Action tracking and closure
- Audit support
- Work with PCA process owners to evaluate trends and facilitate process improvement actions.
