Energetic Bilingual Dental Assistant 20-30 Hours- Nw Side Chicago

We are seeking an Energetic Bilingual (Spanish speaking) Dental Assistant for our compassionate, family friendly, dental office in the Northwest side of Chicago.

• We help each other out in our tasks to reach a common goal of improving our patients' lives as well as our own.
• We have 2 dental offices. Our Belmont/Central location has 3 chairs and 2 doctors. Our Kedzie/Archer location has 6 chairs and 3 doctors.
• We treat patients of all ages and everyone is like family.
• We use Dentrix in our office

Skill Requirements include:

• Must be fluent in English and Spanish verbal and written
• Must be able to work independently as well as with a team
• Must have a great attitude to help others however they can
• Dental office experience required
• Must be comfortable talking to people all day
• Must have a friendly and outgoing personality and a professional demeanor
• Must have excellent customer service skills
• Must be available 2 evenings a week and possibly 1 Saturday per month
• Must have excellent communication skills- written and verbal
• Work independently on projects improve and grow the practice
• Coronal polishing and sealant certification a plus

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

• Chairside dental assist
• Maintain inventory of supplies
• Check and perform routine maintenance on dental equipment
• Sterilize instruments and maintain OSHA standards
• Confirm and set up appointments with patients
• Communicate effectively with doctors and front office team to help flow of the day
• Educate patients on procedures, oral health and comfort patients during treatment
• Follow up with patients to set up appointments

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
