Emt - Emergency Medical Technician

Responsibilities:

• Safely drive the Ambulance to transport patients to their designated medical facilities.
• Transfer patients to and from stretchers and ensure their secure transportation.
• Maintain accurate records of transport times, Complete electronic Patient Care Reports (ePCRs) using Image Trend software.
• Monitor and maintain medical equipment and supplies on the Ambulance.
• Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of the Ambulance for a comfortable patient experience.
• Assess patients' conditions and administer appropriate treatments and interventions.
• Safely transport patients to medical facilities, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure effective coordination and delivery of patient care.
• Document all relevant information accurately and promptly, maintaining thorough and organized records.
• Maintain and restock medical supplies and equipment on the ambulance for optimal readiness.
• Practice infection control measures and adhere to legal and ethical standards in patient care.

Requirements:

• Must be 24 years of age or older (TO BE ALLOWED TO DRIVE).
• Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Certification as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania or National Registry.
• Ability to lift at least 200 lbs.
• Exceptional ability to work well under pressure, particularly in emergency situations.
• Effective communication skills to interact with patients, family members, and medical professionals.
• Physical capability to lift and move patients, as well as operate medical equipment.
• Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.

Salary: The pay range for the Emergency Medical Technician position is $27 to $30 per hour, based on experience and availability.
