No prior experience required. Must be EMT-B certified within one month of offer.
For those interested and not yet EMT-B certified, we offer an in-house hybrid EMT-B course that includes tuition reimbursement through your weekly paychecks upon hire. Or gain valuable ambulance experience as a paid Ambulance Transport Specialist (ATS) while you learn!

Major Responsibilities
- Dedication to the Baldrige Criteria for Performance Excellence
- Reassuring patients and bystanders by working in a confident, efficient manner.
- Assesses and stabilizes patients using learned Basic Life Support (BLS) skills.
- Avoiding mishandling and undue haste while working expeditiously to accomplish the task.
- Provides communications to various communications centers and notifies receiving facilities when appropriate.
- Cleans all equipment following appropriate disinfecting procedures
- Decontaminates the interior of the vehicle after transport of patient with contagious infection.
- Ensures that the ambulance is clean and washed and kept in a neat orderly condition in accordance with local, state or federal regulations.
- EMT-B or AEMT certification
- State issued driver’s license
Physical Requirements
- Lifting the stretcher (be able to lift and carry 125 pounds),
- Being able to stand for an extended amount of time.
- Able to drive
