We are seeking a Employee Relations Specialist who is responsible for improving and maintaining Employee Relations in the workplace. This role evaluates employee needs, builds trust, and fosters a positive work environment. The Employee Relations Specialist will also work to resolve conflicts, provide guidance to managers, and ensure compliance with labor laws.
Employee Relations Specialist Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain programs to promote positive Employee Relations in the workplace
- Manage employee grievances and resolve conflicts in an effective and timely manner
- Monitor and enforce company policies and procedures
- Develop and conduct Employee Relations training
- Advise management on a variety of Employee Relations issues
- Investigate and respond to employee complaints
- Research and recommend best practices to enhance employee engagement
- Monitor labor law changes and ensure compliance
- Analyze Employee Relations data and trends
Employee Relations Specialist Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field
- Proven experience in Employee Relations or similar roles
- Thorough understanding of labor laws and compliance requirements
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Able to manage difficult conversations with tact and diplomacy
- Proficient in MS Office and HR information systems
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
