The Nevada Supreme Court is the highest court in the state, responsible for interpreting and administering justice. Our Human Resources Office plays a critical role in supporting the Court's operations by providing expert human resources, payroll, and communication services to our employees.
The Human Resources Office is seeking a driven and forward-thinking individual to be our Las Vegas HR Generalist with a focus on employee development throughout the employee lifecycle. Under the direction of the Director of Human Resources, the HR Analyst will play a crucial role in providing professional development, training, and human resources support to the Court.

After an initial training period, there will be an opportunity for a hybrid remote/in-office schedule.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Performing professional level employee development functions for the Administrative Office of the Courts;
Assisting to build a positive rapport amongst staff and the public;
Creation and administration of the court-wide training programs with the use of our LMS;
Assisting in the administration of recruitment, selection, hiring, and onboarding processes;
Assisting with classification and compensation determinations;
Assisting with the administration of the medical leave programs to include FMLA, ADA, Catastrophic Leave, and Workers' Compensation;
Acting as a resource and liaison for both internal and external customers;
Acting as a backup to the other Human Resources Analysts which will include HR/payroll/processing functions.
Progressively responsible professional employee development and/or employee training experience;
Knowledge of human resources administration;
Working knowledge of state laws, regulations, rules, and policies related to human resource management;
Knowledge of medical leave processing and administration;
Knowledge of employee recruitment processes;
Ability to adjust and adapt to change; and
Knowledge of a variety of human resources, training, and payroll systems.
Effectively works remotely and collaborates with employees from a remote location, as needed. Must have expertise in virtual meeting platforms, such as Teams. Must have the ability to work remotely via an internet network connection provided by the employee. This connection speed must be sufficient to perform all duties. A minimum of 50-100 mb download speeds are required. Higher connection speed may be required if sharing this connection with other members in an employee's household.
