We are looking for a skilled Talent Management professional who can partner with our SME's to drive the deployment of talent, learning and performance initiatives for Equitable.

You'll be part of the Perform & Develop Squad that sits within HR's People Journey's Center of Excellence. The Perform and Develop squad is a cross functional, agile team made up of different disciplines. Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the design, development, implementation, and execution of performance and learning management programs and initiatives that drive desired behaviors, increase employee engagement and mobility, and accelerate performance to deliver business results
  • Partner with team members to manage virtual performance/learning event logistics
  • Provide support to create learning journeys for employees
  • Seamlessly manage and execute multiple talent priorities and programs
  • Prepare and maintain written documentation, including reports and presentations, training, and/or job aids
  • Create intranet articles in collaboration with the internal communications team   
  • Develop and conduct training on talent related topics and systems
  • Support and execute Talent system updates and testing
  • Present prototypes to stakeholders and peers for review and feedback 
  • Contribute to Squad's objectives and key results (OKRs) and set a clear roadmap for crafting and executing on the Squad initiatives
  • Act as the "voice of the customer", encouraging continuous feedback loops from customers and stakeholders
  • Build surveys to measure and assess the impact of the performance and learning processes 
  • Handle direct communications with employees- respond to inquiries and escalate issues as needed 

The base salary range for this position is $68,000 - $102,000.  Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3 years prior experience in Human Resources, preferably within Learning & Development
  • Bachelor's in HR, Business or related field
  • Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite; including Excel and PowerPoint

 Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong interpersonal skills and highly collaborative
  • Adaptable and able to pivot based on changing priorities
  • Attention to detail and follow up

Skills:

Organizational Change Management: Knowledge of key roles, activities and major issues affecting change management; ability to align the organization's people and culture with changes in business strategy, organizational structure, technology and business processes.

Performance Management: Knowledge of successful performance management techniques; ability to apply organization's performance management system, practices, and tools to developing and improving individual, team, and organizational performance.

Program Management: Knowledge of the policies and techniques to manage a set of related projects within a program; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control the set of projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve program objectives. 

Talent Analytics: Knowledge of methodologies, technologies and processes used to collect, analyze and utilize employee data (e.g. personality, attitudes, behaviors, performance); ability to enhance the company's competitive advantages through in-depth data analytics.

Workplace Diversity: Understanding of the business vale of diverse perspectives and opinions and ability to understand, appreciate and employ the unique contributions of associates of varied cultures, nationalities, ethnic backgrounds, genders, ages, points of view, etc.
