Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in information security.
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: Incident Response, Security Operations, Cloud Security, Data Protection, Network Security, Endpoint Security, Identity and Access Management (IAM), Vulnerability Research, Penetration Testing.
- Active US Government Top Secret Clearance.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in adversary tactics and techniques.
- Experience working with government departments, military, or intelligence services.
- Practical experience in one or more of the following information security domains: Incident Response, Security Operations, Threat Intelligence, Cloud Security, Enterprise Architecture.
- Understanding of the cyber threat landscape, including prominent nation state/criminal threat actors and cyber attacks.
- Ability to communicate remediation recommendations/strategies to technical staff, executive leadership, legal counsel, and internal and external clients.
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop documentation and explain technical details in a concise manner.

As an Emerging Technology Cybersecurity Consultant, you will be responsible for helping clients effectively prepare for, mitigate, and respond to cybersecurity threats in the cloud, on-premise, and involving technologies (I.e., artificial intelligence, cloud service mesh, hyperscalers, and serverless workloads). You will have an understanding of computer science, operating system functionality and networking, cloud platform architecture, corporate enterprise architecture, and how to apply this knowledge to cyber security threats.
In this role, you will assist clients navigate, remediate, and recover from technically complex and high-profile incidents, perform proactive security assessments, and be the technical advocate for information security requirements and best practices. You will articulate and present complex concepts to business stakeholders, executive leadership, and technical teams.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $130,000-$193,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Conduct enterprise architecture and cloud platform assessments, in collaboration with internal and customer teams, in support of incident response investigations and security assessment engagements.
- Build scripts, tools, or methodologies to enhance Mandiant's on-premise Active Directory and/or cloud assessment processes that can be applied to current and future engagements.
- Develop and present comprehensive and accurate reports, training, and presentations for technical and executive audiences.
- Conduct security program assessments and build roadmaps to improve client security posture.
- Assess security operations and incident response team capabilities and provide recommendations for improvement .
