**Emergency Medicine job Opening in Mattoon, IL** - Located 3 hours from Chicago; 2 hours from St Louis; 1.5 hours from Springfield, IL - Service area of 50,000 people **About the Opportunity:** - 32 room department recently renovated and optimized - All day and evening shifts; no overnights - Full time is 15 10-hour shifts per month - Department has 50 hours of physician coverage and 30 hours of APP coverage per day - Adult and pediatric hospitalists do their own admissions - Not a trauma facility; no heads, no open hearts **Compensation:** - Above median base salary - Quality bonus, signing bonus and retention bonus available - Relocation assistance available - Three retirement plans including a unique supplemental plan - Health, vision, dental, life and disability coverage - Paid malpractice with tail **About Mattoon:** - Centrally located in Mattoon, Health Center is a 128-bed, community hospital in East Central Illinois - 180 miles south of Chicago and 130 miles east of St. Louis. - The Health Center provides a full range of acute-care, general services and home health services to approximately 357,000 residents of Coles and the surroundings 12 counties.
