UnityPoint Health – Des Moines provides coordinated clinic, hospital and home-based care for patients in Des Moines and Central Iowa. Physicians and providers are supported by our state-of-the-art UnityPoint Health – Des Moines hospitals: Iowa Methodist Medical Center, Iowa Lutheran Hospital, Blank Children’s Hospital, John Stoddard Cancer Center and Methodist West Hospital. - Part-time Emergency Medicine Opportunity
- Work alongside of a great team of experienced professionals
- Advanced scheduling to accommodate lifestyle
- No inpatient duties/no call
- Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination
- Work 3 out of 4 weekends per month, approximately 96 hours per month
- Weekend package = Friday, Saturday & Sunday
- Shift hours are variable
- Practice in all 3 Des Moines locations: Methodist, Lutheran, Methodist West
- Part-time employment, benefit eligible
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Improve the health of the people and communities we serve
- Minimum 1 year of experience, as a provider, working in Emergency Medicine or inpatient internal medicine
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Ability to work as a team member
- Hold an unrestricted medical license in the state of Iowa
- Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the Advanced Practitioners field of practice
- Eligible to work in the United States
