Job Title: EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIAN (EMT)
Job Description:
Sanford Federal is seeking qualified candidates for the position of EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIAN (EMT).EMTs will perform emergency services on ambulances servicing the Nashville and Murfreesboro VAMCs and CBOCs.
EMTs qualification :
EMTs must have completed training in accordance with the standards published by the Tennessee Department of Public Health, Department of Health and Human Services. Such training programs must be acceptable under the regulating requirements for local EMS Systems supported by DHHS under PL 93-154 or "equivalent" training program successfully completed by the EMT.
The EMT must be certified, licensed, or otherwise officially recognized by the Local, State, or Regional Government or public entity where the emergency ambulance service is operated, or by which it is governed.
EMTs shall have completed training on transporting and assisting disabled passengers. Training should be in place covering Blood Borne Pathogens, Age-Related Personal interactions and communication, and Body Mechanics.
