Emergency Medical Technician (Emt) Instructor

Position responsible for teaching the Emergency Medical Technician Course at the post-secondary level. Classes are offered during the daytime, with days off on the weekends and most observed holidays. Pay is determined by experience.

Instructors at RGV Vocational Services are responsible for delivering curriculum content to our students in the program in which they are enrolled. Students are training to become certified in the program they are enrolled in and are adult learners that require dedication, structure, and attention. Instructors will also manage their classroom environment, promote a positive and engaging learning experience, and provide support, tutoring, and other assistance as needed. Instructors are to model the professional behaviors, language, and activities expected of our students.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Healthcare field: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• BLS Certification (Preferred)
• EMT License (Preferred)

• EMT-I (Preferred)
