Responsibilities
- Ensures continuous compliance with CMS and DNV Emergency Management standards.
- Conducts annual Hazard Vulnerability Analysis.
- Conducts or facilitates training in Emergency Preparedness, Response and Incident Command.
- Revises or updates Emergency Operations Plan (EOP) annually and as necessary.
- Manages disaster equipment and supply.
- Designs, plans, conducts, and assess drills and exercises in accordance with Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP).
- Supports Regional Healthcare Coalition by function as the Regional Readiness and Response Coordinator.
- Ensure compliance with Hospital Preparedness Program (HPP) and contract requirements.
- Coordinates Emergency Response activities with regional partners, City/County/State government, Non-governmental organizations (NGO's) and private industry.
- Participates in County and Regional Local Emergency Planning Committees (LEPC).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare, Emergency Management, or related field.
- NIMS ICS 100, 200, 700, and 800 required. ICS 300 and 400 preferred (must be completed within 1 year of hire).
- Certified Emergency & Disaster Professional (CEDP), Certified Hospital Emergency Coordinator (CHEC), Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) or equivalent.
- Familiarity with CMS Emergency Management standards.
