Requirements / Qualifications
This is an Eligibility Pool only - once positions become available, school sites will contact applicants for interviews.
Applicants must submit all required documents to be considered, including a valid teaching credential - this position is not intern-eligible.
Required Documents:
1. Copy of California Single Subject Teaching Credential - Foreign Language Chinese Mandarin or Multiple Subject B CLAD
2. Current Resume
3. Current Copy of Transcripts (Official transcripts are required upon hiring)
4. Three (3) Letters of Recommendation signed within the last 12 months. It is recommended that at least one (1) come from a supervising administrator.
5. Letter of Intent addressed to Ricardo Cecena, Director of Human Resources
6. For phone references, be sure to include the reference's most current cell phone number and email address.
7. All applications must be submitted through EdJoin; no hard copy documents will be accepted.
TEACHER INDUCTION: Poway Unified School District offers a teacher induction program to clear the CA preliminary credential to qualified individuals at no cost to the employee.
