The Partner School in Washington, DC, is a public charter school dedicated to educating young scholars from Pre-K to 5th Grade. The school's commitment to providing authentic learning experiences in a collaborative, nurturing environment aligns with our mission. As the primary provider, we are seeking reliable and accountable educators to join our team and contribute to the success of our partnering school.
Responsibilities:
As an Educator with Teachers on Demand, you will become an integral part of a nationwide cohort of educators driven by a shared mission. Your role involves:
- Creating and implementing lesson plans that align with the school curriculum and educational standards.
- Providing instruction to elementary school students in various subjects.
- Using effective teaching strategies to engage students and promote active learning.
- Utilizing classroom management techniques to maintain a productive and respectful classroom atmosphere.
- Offering individualized instruction or tutoring to students who require additional assistance.
- Fostering a safe and nurturing classroom environment that promotes the social-emotional well-being of students.
Schedule: 8AM – 4:30PM PM, Monday - Friday

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a elementary school setting.
- Valid teaching certification in the relevant subject area. (preferred)
- Compliance with state and district teaching requirements.
- Successful completion of a Tuberculosis (TB) test or health clearance, in accordance with state and district regulations.
- Successful completion of a comprehensive background check.
