Elementary After School Teacher

Paid Training:

Position: Part-Time Teacher
Location: Washington DC and surrounding areas
Application Deadline: March 1
Start Date: March 5

Responsibilities:
- Conduct interactive and engaging classes for preschool and elementary school aged children, incorporating a variety of activities.
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that support children's musical development and stimulate their creativity.
- Foster a love for the arts among young learners.
- Collaborate with the Tunes 4 Tots team to ensure consistency in teaching methods and curriculum delivery.

Qualifications:
- Strong musical background and proficiency in singing and playing various instruments is a plus.
- Experience working with preschool-aged children and designing age-appropriate lessons preferred.
- Knowledge of early childhood development and the ability to tailor instruction to meet children’s needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Creativity, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week

• Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)
• Music: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• Washington, DC: Relocate before starting work (Required)
