Job Description The Orange East Supervisory Union (OESU) is located in the beautiful Upper Valley of the Connecticut River in Bradford, Vermont. OESU is comprised of six schools and a technical center serving over 1,500 students in grades pre-K through twelve. Our schools proudly serve the towns of Bradford, Newbury, Corinth, Groton, Ryegate, Thetford, Topsham, Wells River and local tuition towns. Our boards conduct the business of providing leadership and support to schools for the purpose of improving educational outcomes for our students. ?The professional staff of our schools and central office provide an educational environment with an eye on high standards and quality instruction.
Orange East Supervisory Union is seeking an elementary level Special Education Teacher, starting with the 2023-2024 school year, with placement at the Waits River Valley School; a PreK through 8th grade school. The Special Education Teacher will be responsible for the implementation of students' Individualized Education Plans, collaborating with general Education Teachers to implement students' IEP goals and objectives, assisting with IEP accommodations and curricular modifications, facilitating IEP team meetings with parents and supporting students within the general classroom.
Interested candidates should apply through the school spring application process and include: a cover letter, resume, three current letters of recommendation, transcripts (undergraduate and/or graduate), proof of licensure in Vermont as a Special Education/Consulting Teacher (or the ability to become licensed) and Praxis (or the equivalent) test scores.

Job Requirements Proof of Vermont licensure as a Special Education Teacher (12-82) and/or Consulting Teacher (12-85).
