Form of workSmilie Memorial School is seeking an energetic and collaborative educator to join our team to cover a Long Term absence in a multi-aged classroom (Grades 1 and 2). Smilie Memorial School is a small, student centered, collaborative school where educators support work closely with each other to ensure student success. This position will be from March 22 - June 7, 2024.
Candidates should understand best practices in early literacy acquisition, have an understanding of trauma-informed classroom management strategies, have the ability to work collaboratively on a team, have knowledge of standards-based math curriculum, have experience using formative assessment to plan for instruction, and have knowledge of PBIS and Responsive Classroom strategies.
