Position Overview: We are seeking qualified and experienced Elementary School Homeroom Teachers to join our dedicated team for the 2024-2025 school year. The ideal candidates will have a passion for education, a deep understanding of elementary curriculum standards, and a commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging and differentiated lesson plans in accordance with the school's curriculum and instructional goals.

• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued, respected, and supported in their learning journey.

• Utilize effective classroom management strategies to maintain a conducive learning atmosphere and promote student engagement and participation.

• Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative assessments, and provide timely feedback to students and parents.

• Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and parents to support the holistic development of each student.

• Integrate Islamic values and principles into daily instruction and classroom activities, fostering a sense of Islamic identity and character development among students.

• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay abreast of best practices in education.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

• Valid teaching license or certification in Elementary Education.

• Proven experience teaching Elementary School students, preferably in a diverse and multicultural setting.

• Deep knowledge of elementary curriculum standards and instructional best practices.

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.

• Commitment to the mission and values of Woodbridge Islamic School, including promoting Islamic identity and character development.

• Ability to integrate technology effectively into instruction to enhance learning outcomes.
