The Norwich City School District seeks a School Counselor for probationary tenure-track position, beginning as soon as possible. The successful candidate will possess a strong ability to:
· Collaborate with team colleagues as well as faculty and staff to provide a comprehensive social emotional counseling program that is reflective of varying student needs
· Prioritize student counseling and the development of relationships with students
· Identify, assess, and implement preventative services
· Believe that caregivers serve in partnership with the school
· Possess a valid NYS certification in School Counseling
