Position Summary
Reporting to the Electrical Engineering Manager, the Electronics Technician will join a growing engineering team to assemble, test, and debug an ever-expanding set of products. A successful candidate will be responsible for applying the team’s latest electrical developments to fielded products, test systems and research platforms. You’ll use electrical test equipment in concert with engineers to characterize prototype designs and play a key role in failure analysis of electronics design to improve yield and reliability.

This is a temporary position lasting ~3 months. The schedule for this position is 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday.
Key Responsibilities
- Assembly of surface-mount and through-hole PCBs
- Assembly of discrete wire cables.
- Soldering and PCB rework.
- Construction of R&D prototypes.
- Testing and basic debugging of production PCB assemblies.
- Creation and maintenance of production records.
- Creation and maintenance of Quality Management System records.
Skills & Qualifications
- Expert soldering, PCB assembly and re-work skills (fine-pitch SMD and through-hole).
- J-STD-001 and/or IPC-A-610 training.
- Expert cable assembly skills.
- Basic ability to understand schematics, mechanical drawings, etc.
- Use of basic electronic test equipment (e.g., meters, power supplies).
- Basic board-level/system-level debugging skills.
- Hard working, high energy and able to work independently.
Additional Skills (preferred but not required):
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and similar applications.
- Familiarity with task management and product life cycle management software (Jira, Arena, etc.).
Education & Experience
- Related Associate's Degree or commensurate experience
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
