This position is located in our Dublin, VA site.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Associate degree in electronic technology required or equivalent 3 years’ experience in field of electronics and electronic diagnostics.
- Be able to read, speak, and understand English.
- Be able to work and communicate well with others.
- Be able to work with minimal or no supervision.
- Be able to perform basic math calculations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, organized, and strong attention to detail.
- Highly motivated, with an ability to work independently, self- starter.
- Ability to handle confidential and proprietary information.
- Team player with a solid work ethic and consistent follow-through.
- Availability and willingness to work select evenings and some weekends as/if needed during Fireworks Peak Seasons, typically Mid May to Mid July and October to December but not limited to.

- Problem-solving skills to diagnose issues and devise solutions.
- Observational skills to notice potential problems during service checks.
- Demonstrated proficiency at interpreting diagrams and schematics.
- Written communication skills to keep accurate, easy-to-understand reports.
- Ability to operate tools such as multimeters, soldering stations, precision screwdrivers, rotary tools, and to distinguish between various colors of wiring.
- Interpersonal and oral communication skills to interact, collaborate and provide instruction.
- Deep familiarity with circuitry, wiring and splicing.
- Working knowledge of health and safety standards
- Proficiency with cloud-based data storage, and Microsoft office tools.
- Experience in asset management software and tracking.
- Must possess Forklift Driver training.
JOB DUTIES:
- Responsible for the maintenance, cleaning, testing, repair, construction, and inventory of all equipment and associated components.
- Setting up and calibrating electronics systems by following schematics and diagrams.
- Troubleshooting problems with electronics and making necessary repairs.
- Conducting service checks and performing routine maintenance to keep electronics functioning properly.
- Communicating with operators, engineers, and inspectors to understand problems and provide progress updates.
- Giving demonstrations on the safe use, operation, and maintenance of equipment
- Ordering or producing parts needed to make repairs and complete maintenance.
- Maintaining logs that provide dates and details of repairs and maintenance performed as well as a preventive maintenance schedule.
- Adhering to health and safety rules and regulations
- Participate in the development and generation of test procedures necessary to maintain all equipment in good working status.
- Follow all standard procedures for the department.
- Organize shipping and receiving for all required electronics equipment as each packing list is received for displays.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area following all established policies and procedures.
- Perform cycle counts and inventory audits of electronics equipment as needed.
- Participate in the development, design, manufacture, test, deployment and support of electronic components or systems.
- When necessary, assist the warehouse personnel with loading and unloading trucks.
- When necessary, assist the warehouse personnel with inventories.
- When necessary, assist the warehouse personnel with verification of incoming shipments.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
- Must be able to traverse and access all areas of the warehouse.
- Ability to safely operate a forklift and operate warehouse equipment.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk/worktable and working on a computer.
