Biomark specializes in low frequency RFID (radio-frequency identification) tags also referred to as Passive Integrated Transponder (PIT) tags and related monitoring equipment and services. The monitoring systems collect identification data at specific and strategic locations to provide researchers valuable animal intelligence for management decisions. Description:
The technician fabricates and wires equipment used in the RFID systems for Fish and Wildlife. Assists in the RMA process for repairs of equipment.
Essential Job Functions include the following, but are not limited to:
Assemble and test products of varying sizes and complexity. Includes cleaning, inspecting, and testing of sub-assemblies and final assemblies.
Complete projects according to instructions and technical manuals using knowledge of electronic, and mechanical systems or components.
Troubleshoot circuit level components
Circuit board surface mount component repair
In addition to the essential functions and duties listed above, all positions are also responsible for:
Meeting company standards pertaining to quantity and quality of work performed on an ongoing basis, performing all work-related tasks in a manner that follows all Company policies and procedures.
Adhering to Company policies, procedures, and directives regarding standards of workplace behavior in completing job duties and assignments.
Qualifications
Education:
Two-year technical degree, accredited apprenticeship program, or the equivalent experience in a technical field.
Experience:
1-years of relevant electronics assembly/technician experience
Specialized Knowledge and Skills:
Demonstrated experience in using hand tools and electronics test equipment
Excellent attention to detail
Proficiency in communication (written and verbal)
Fast and effective problem-solving abilities
Process improvement experience
Ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team
Good interpersonal skills
Creative mindset and willingness to evaluate new ways of working for the betterment of the organization

U.S. Hybrid Work Model
