Electronic Warfare Engineer, Lead

The Opportunity:

As an electrical engineer, you understand the workings behind complex systems. That knowledge is key when it comes to Electronic Warfare (EW) system integration. We’re looking for an electrical engineer who can use their skills to assist the Integrated Product Team (IPT) with integration and fielding of EW systems on military avionics platforms.

At Booz Allen, you’ll use your engineering skills to transform the capabilities of these airborne platforms. Our team supports the enhanced EW Suite integration and fielding of new technologies. That’s why we need you, an electrical engineer familiar with EW technologies, compliance, and risk assessments to help us design and develop modern Radar Warning Systems.

On our team, you’ll work as part of our team to verify system requirements compliance and track programmatic risks and interoperability issues. You’ll directly impact our nation's military capabilities and advance them to the warfighter. We’ll look to you to share your electrical engineering expertise through leadership and mentoring junior staff. This is a chance to use your experience-based knowledge in EW and systems engineering while broadening your skillset into areas like acquisition processes and test compliance.

You Have: 

  • 8+ years of experience with integration of products into military aircraft
  • Knowledge of the DoD acquisition process, Flight Clearance process, HW/SW integration and test process, ground and flight test processes, Engineering Change Process (ECP), and Technical Directives (TD) release and implementation processes
  • Ability to perform requirements verification and validation, and risk tracking and adjudication
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or Science

Nice If You Have: 

  • Experience with the CH-53E/K platform
  • Knowledge of EW radar detection systems
  • Ability to work with government and industry teams to work through integration issues
  • Master's degree in an Engineering, Mathematics, or Science field
  • DAWIA Level 2 Certification

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $73,100.00 to $166,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
