Hiring Electrical Mechanical Assemblers in Export, PA Area
1st shift - $16-18 per hour - Monday-Thursday four 10 hour days!! - Great Benefits - Annual Raises
The Job:
- Candidates will be responsible for electrical wiring and fabricating the inside of the low and medium voltage starters by following blueprints and schematics. Will be responsible for tacking and drilling and be provided all necessary equipment.
- Under general supervision the use of electronic parts, ohm meters, hand tools and electric tools is required to wire and/or mount parts, fabricate enclosures, assemble stacks.
- Install power wire and or wire harnesses for various standard products from electrical schematics, mechanical drawings and/or shop instructions while following company workmanship standards.
- Possess a basic understanding of wire color codes, wire size, schematics, creep and strike distances, measuring, torque tolerance and hardware assembly.
Qualifications:
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, wiring diagrams and bills of material to determine required component parts and the optimum sequences of assembly.
- Experience using various tools needed to complete assembly and wiring requirements, including screw drivers, sockets, wire strippers/crimpers, impact drivers, and other hand tools.
- Ability to determine differences in wire gauges (AWG).
- Ability to position, align and fasten components using hand and power tools.
- Ability to work independently to complete tasks.
- Good time-management skills and ability to set priorities.
- Availability and willingness to work hours as needed to meet critical deadlines.
- Commitment to quality and productivity.
- Ability to lift 40lbs.
