Electronic Assembler - First Shift

Flight Systems Industrial Products (FSIP) invites you to join our proud team in Carlisle, PA. FSIP manufacturers and remanufactures electronics for numerous electric vehicle and equipment markets. Our Electronic Assembler position is First Shift, Monday through Friday, 7:00AM-3:30PM.

Tasks Performed:

• Work with small hand tools to disassemble, solder, assemble, clean, test, and label electronic PC boards
• Work on products containing mechanical components & electronic PC boards
• Visually identify parts using an order acknowledgement or job traveler
• Actively contributes to lean initiatives to increase productivity and reduce costs
• Follow company scheduling and rework processes to achieve customer quality and on-time delivery schedules

Skills/Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic knowledge and use of hand tools
• Accurate and efficient with a high level of attention to detail.
• Ability to select appropriate procedures, techniques, tools and equipment for the job
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follows prescribed safety procedures.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to follow direction and switch gears as business needs dictate
• Lifting 30-lbs with or without accommodation
• Associates must, with or without reasonable accommodation, be able to stand/walk/sit for up to 8 hours
