Electromotive Equipment Mechanic (Golf Cart)

About the position: This position will be assigned to the Golf Course on Patrick Space Force base.
This position is a regular part-time position with benefits to include: Health and Life Insurance, 401K and Retirement.
This position requires shift work to provide coverage on days, evenings, weekends, holidays, or special situations. Scheduled hours will be 20-34 per week. Must be able to life and carry objects weighing 50 pounds or more.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience:
Must have experience which demonstrates the applicant's ability to inspect, repair and replace components and accessories on electric Golf Carts; ability to use electrical test equipment; and ability to read and interpret parts manuals and manufacturer's repair manuals. Must be physically able to frequently lift and carry objects weighing up to 40 pounds. May occasionally be required to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Must be able to actively stand, bend, stoop and work in tiring and uncomfortable positions. Exposed to the possibility of cuts, bruises and electric shocks.
Education:Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution.
FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program.
