Electro-Mechanical Manufacturing Technician

Seeking an experienced electro-mechanical technician with knowledge of mechanical technology, electrical equipment, assembly, troubleshooting and quality control for a in the Brea CA area. This assignment involves working on issues such as:

· Quality of finish on systems involving sensors
· composite materials
· fabric
· foam
· liquids
· electrical components
· Design improvements
· process changes
· Corrective actions for existing issues
· Documentation for Assembly
· Bills of Material Version
· control for documentation
· Other Duties include Hands-on assistance with fabrication.
· troubleshooting Requires ability to sit.
· stand
· bend
· crouch
· use manual dexterity for 2–4-hour periods.

Requirements:

· Requires ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
· Regular reporting on progress and changes made.
· Experience in Manufacturing environment.
· Required Knowledge & Experience
· Degree or certification in Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering Technology
· preferred 7+ years’ experience using mechanical assembly drawing/schematics/verbal specifications with minimal supervision.
· Experience with prototyping EM devices and/or complete systems using hand tools, electrical calibration equipment, and various epoxies.
· Proficiency with Windows and/or Linux computer systems running system diagnostics.
· Experience in a low-volume production environment
· Knowledge of sensors-based technology a big plus
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills a must
