Mission of the Role: The primary purpose of the Data Analyst Intern role is to contribute to the organization's operations and product savings optimization activities. The intern will support key business initiatives by leveraging data analysis and modeling techniques to determine the best cost of our electrification products and optimal leveraging of our engineering resources.
Key Objectives of this Role:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze component cost data and market trends.
- Develop and implement best cost models to optimize product and service offerings.
- Contribute to resource management strategies through data-driven insights.
- Support the creation of forecasting models for resource allocation.
- Assist in the evaluation and enhancement of existing pricing and resource management strategies.
- Join and participate in supplier meetings.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Contribution to overall team performance in achieving strategic objectives.
- Business case performance improvements resulting from cost optimizations.
- Customer satisfaction scores related to pricing and resource utilization.
Key Deliverables:
- Comprehensive bill-of-materials cost analysis reports for key products and services.
- Implemented cost models with documented impact on business case.
- Resource allocation recommendations based on data-driven insights.
- Forecasting models for improved resource planning.
- Evaluation reports on existing pricing and resource management strategies.
Qualification, Experience and Skills:
- Actively pursuing master’s / bachelor’s degree in computer science or Data Analytics
- Strong scripting experience with Python or VBA
- Database development experience is strongly encourage

Reporting Structure: This role is part of the Electrification Product Line and will report directly to the Senior Global Technical Quote Lead.
