To keep up with that demand we are hiring a talented Journeyman Electricians responsible for installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems.
You will:
- Coordinate and correspond with our customers in a respectful and cordial manner to further our relationship and win more work
- Ensure that work installed is completed in accordance with the standards set by the customer, NFPA, NEC, and OSHA
- Bend, cut, and install various conduit types (EMT, rigid, aluminum, stainless steel, and PVC), including the design of conduit routes for projects
- Pull wire in conduit in an efficient and safe way from #16 to 500mcm
- Terminate wires in the field and in panels from a set of drawings
- Troubleshoot electrical circuits in the field and in panels to get the customer back in operation in a timely manner
- Install and mount electronic controls, device panels, sensors, and other components
- Test control panels for proper operation and to ensure 100% accuracy in control panel wiring
- Install and mount electronic controls, device panels, sensors, and other components
- Install, assemble, test, and maintain electrical wiring, conduit, wiring, cable, equipment, components, and other devices associated with electrical equipment
- Read drawings, work orders, building plans, etc. and assist the Design Team to complete the project
- Provide "red line" drawings and other documents for "as-builts"
- Project estimating, including scheduling, ordering of necessary parts, and time management to ensure completion is on-time and under budget
- Participate in training to improve any necessary skills
- Ability to work at heights in excess of 10'+; must be comfortable working at heights
You have:
- Possess valid State of California Electrician Certification, California Electrical Journeyman License preferred
- Experience using hand tools, small power tools, benders, threaders, and heavy equipment
- Experience mentoring and leading a team
- Clear understanding of up to date codes, standards, and education of NEC and NFPA
- Welding and fabrication with mig and tig welder is a plus
- 5+ years of experience as an Industrial/Controls Electrician or Production Electrician

- Salary: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour.
