Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work ON-SITE with our client in Liverpool, NY. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • Provides Test support for Operations. Provide troubleshooting and process guidance to represented workforce in proactive and reactive situations.
  • Develops and Updates test procedures based on Test Requirements, and solves technical issues with the Special Test Equipment (STE) and Unit Under test (tactical/customer equipment).
  • Participates in technical reviews, identifies opportunities for process improvement, and interacts with the Engineering and technology organization to implement Design For Test concepts.
  • Drives Continuous improvement into the test methods and products under test.
  • Investigates issues to determine root cause/corrective actions to solve complex issues with test methods and units under test.
  • Trains test technicians and less experienced engineers.
  • Identifies cost and cycle time reduction focus areas, and works with the team to implement solutions.
  • Generates test-ready documentation for use on the production floor.
  • Forward-thinking problem-solving that will implement changes to avoid repeating the same issue.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $40.00 - $65.00 / hr.

Hours: 4/10 hrs/Week (1st shift)

Length: CONTRACT (12 Months)

Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in transitioning development programs into production.
  • Minimum 2 years of Electrical Troubleshooting, Radio Frequency (RF), Technical Writing experience

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree
  • Systematic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to resolve issues effectively and efficiently.
  • Able to drive projects to closure.
  • ATE/STE Test and Troubleshooting
  • Digital Test and Troubleshooting
  • Analyze data to resolve complex problems
  • Communication skills (written & verbal) to communicate with the team and Management.
  • Automated Test Methods
  • Technical Writing for Procedures (test & troubleshooting)
  • Create Planning for product test flow.
  • Communication Skills
  • Knowledge of Electrical Technology
  • Understand and Follow Configuration Management practices (CM)
  • Proficient in:
    1. MatLab
    2. Networking (Ethernet systems)
    3. Unix
    4. Fiber Optics
    5. MS Office Tools
    6. LabView
    7. Production Control Systems (SAP)/Solumina
    8. Lean/Six Sigma Greenbelt/blackbelt

Additional Information:

  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
