Job Opening: Electrical Integration Technician

Located in Milpitas, MicroTech is rapidly becoming an industry leader and independent provider of manual, semi-automated and automated wet process equipment for Semiconductor, Solar, and Pharmaceutical Industries.

The company has an immediate opening for an The individual must be willing to take on responsibilities outside of defined role and be a team player. Our ideal candidate should have two years of experience in woodwork or plastic fabricating, but not required. This position is responsible for adhering to a production schedule and certifies that all parts are properly fitted, aligned, and secured. We are looking for someone who is detail oriented, self-motivated and demonstrates good judgment and effective decision-making skills.

Responsibilities:

· Accurately interpret engineering drawings and perform plumbing, wiring, and assembly to meet functionality and specification requirements.

· Trouble-shoot components at start up and maintain a low failure rate.

· Competently use measuring instruments and diagnostic devices and contribute to MTS’s quality program by following procedures.

· Maintain stewardship of equipment and contribute to the maintenance and cleanliness to the shop equipment.

· Perform miscellaneous tasks as required to support manufacturing, engineering, quality, and quoting departments.

Required experience:

• Able to read blueprints as well as plumbing & electrical schematics.
• Ables to perform interface plumbing and wiring of components to meet specifications.
• Perform sub-assembly of units and components including pumps, flowmeters, manifolds, etc.
• Perform point to point and interface plumbing for system integration.
• Perform sub-assembly of boards and components including motors, pumps, drives, controllers, etc.
• Perform point to point and interface wiring for systems integration.
• Able to use process pipe welding equipment including, butt-fusion IR welder, socket welder, orbital welder, and hand and power tools as needed.
• Maintains a clean work area both inside and outside equipment.
• Technical degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time, and lift 75lbs.

Pay: $26.00 - $34.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
