This position is for an Evendale-based Electrical System leader supporting commercial sustainable technology demonstrators that advance the future of flight. The candidate will be responsible for leading Electrical System design and integration using a combined domestic and global team which is both GE-badged and non-GE badged. The candidate is expected to define and manage the system and its hardware starting from initial concept through design and development, culminating in a product vision. Roles and Responsibilities
- Functionally manage a multiple-disciplinary team which is both domestic and global, and both GE-badged and non-GE badged
- Communicate and present key trade studies and decisions to technical and program leadership
- Guide and mentor early-career engineering team members
- Meet customer deliverables with quality and punctuality
- Manage multiple program deliverables, including creating schedules and managing to those schedules in close coordination with Joint Venture partners
- Integrate multiple engine systems and technologies
- Execute design trade studies, balancing engine deliverables and schedule
- Identify suppliers and partners required to meet engine deliverables
- Provide regular updates to technical leadership including through design reviews, design guidance efforts, and programmatic reviews
- Apply established program management skills utilizing lean tools
- This role requires applicants to be strong both technically and programmatically.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in design engineering

- Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to document, plan, and execute programs.
