Electrical Service Technician

Job Brief:

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Electrical Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing electrical systems in commercial buildings, including office buildings, retail stores, and warehouses. The ideal candidate should have experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems, as well as excellent communication skills to work effectively with customers and team members.

Typical shift: M thru F // 7:00am-3:30pm

Overtime & Weekends occasionally available.

Duties:

• Diagnose and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings.
• Troubleshoot electrical problems and determine the best course of action to repair them.
• Install and maintain electrical systems, including lighting, power, and controls.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies and procedures.
• Communicate with customers to explain repairs and provide estimates.
• Work independently or as part of a team to complete projects in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Attend training sessions to keep up-to-date with industry advancements and technologies.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record
• Ability to climb ladders, carry tools, and lift 50 lbs
• Knowledge of the theory, methods, practices, tools, and equipment of the trade
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial Electrical Service and repair
• Knowledge of the OSHA Safety Standards, OSHA-30 preferred
• Ability to read, layout, and install electrical components according to blueprints
• Positive attitude and aptitude
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights.
