Job Duties

• Perform the in-process and final inspections and tests on the product in accordance with the appropriate testing procedures, including fabrication and electrical integration.
• Complete the itemized portions of the Inspection Report and initial that each applicable item has been completed.
• Record all discrepancies for evaluation and correction.
• Assist in training the production team on quality control measures to improve product excellence.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, fabrication drawings, and electrical schematics.
• Comprehension and operation of electrical measuring equipment, including but not limited to digital multimeter, phase monitor, and dielectric strength testing equipment (Hipot/Megger).
• Assisting in the development of test methods and inspection plans.
• Determining the causes of product defects and reworks.
• Maintain all test equipment calibrations and calibration log.
• Understanding functionality of basic electrical components.
• Energize electrical equipment up 480VAC, and or 125VDC and perform functional tests as required.
• Coordination and support of customers during FAT process.

• High school diploma or equivalent required. AS or BS in Engineering preferred.

• 1 or more years of experience with electrical and fabrication inspection and testing required.
• Good written and verbal communication skills required.
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills with keen attention to detail required.
• Ability to use measuring devices (gages, meters, calipers, and computers)
• In-depth understanding of quality assurance procedures required, including knowledge of UL codes. Experience in an ISO environment preferred.
• Ability to read blueprint and electrical schematics.
• Able to pass pre-employment screening.
• AWS Certified Weld Inspector Certification, NACE Coating Inspector Certification, and NETA Certification for Electrical Testing are preferred.
