Electrical Project Engineer
Birmingham, AL
Our Client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for the industrial & utility power markets using the Autodesk Suite of Design Software such as AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical. Your expertise in Electrical Design and proficiency in AutoCAD will be instrumental in creating efficient and cutting-edge solutions for their projects.
Responsibilities:
o Collaborate with the Engineering Team to Conceptualize, Plan, and Design Electrical Systems for Various Projects
o Create Detailed Electrical Drawings, Schematics, and Layouts Using AutoCAD Software
o Ensure Designs Comply with Industry Standards, Codes, and Client Requirements
o Utilize AutoCAD to Create 2D Electrical Drawings, Including Panel Layouts, Wiring Diagrams, and Control Schematics
o Maintain Drawing Libraries Using Autodesk Vault and Templates to Streamline Design Processes
Requirements:
o Proven Experience in Electrical Design, Including Proficiency in Using AutoCAD Software
o Familiarity with Electrical Codes, Regulations, and Best Practices
o Experience in Creating 2D and 3D Electrical Drawings and Schematics Using AutoCAD
o AutoCAD Electrical Experience (Not Required But Preferred)
o Ability to Interpret Technical Specifications, Engineering Drawings, and Client Requirements
o Excellent Problem-Solving Skills and Attention to Detail
o Strong Communication and Interpersonal Abilities to Collaborate Effectively with Cross-Functional Teams
o Knowledge of Other Design Software and Tools (E.G., Revit, Inventor) (Not Required But Preferred)
o Previous Experience in Electrical Project Management (Not Required But Preferred)
