POSITION SCOPE AND ORGANIZATIONAL IMPACT
Moss' Electrical Procurement Coordinator is responsible for the implementation of Moss’ procurement strategy with the goals of ensuring availability of project materials, reviewing material specifications, and maintaining timely material lead times to site. This position reports directly to the Procurement Manager and works closely with other Operations key staff.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate Inventory movement from Moss warehouse to jobsites
- Review material requisitions for compliance approvals
- Obtain specifications/product data for submittals
- Track outbound shipments and verify delivery confirmations
- Establish weekly order cycles for assigned jobsites
- Attend daily procurement review meetings to provide updates to jobsite attendees
- Request quotes from vendors, prepare, and issue purchase orders.
- Support the department with the development and implementation of procurement processes
- Coordinate with Warehouse to ensure proper paperwork is provided with outbound trucks
- Ability to accurately coordinate material movement in a fast pace environment
- Meet with Assistant Project Managers, Project Engineers, Field Engineers, and warehouse management daily to review Project status and delivery needs.
- Perform other related duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
- Associates Degree required
- Minimum 1-2 years office experience in Procurement and Logistics
- Experience in solar industry preferred
- Fluent in MS Office products
- Familiarity with ERPs, CMiC and ToolWatch – Database maintenance
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Familiar with construction and supply industry as well as understanding of budgets
- Able to establish and maintain good relations with internal customers and suppliers
