The Role

As a member of the Electrical Panel Building Team, you will work alongside our Production Manager, Electrical Engineering, and Machine Builders to electrically and mechanically assemble and test electrical control panels and other electrical equipment.

What You Will Do

  • General knowledge of electricity and experience working safely with 480 volts.
  • Read and follow electrical schematics.
  • Layout and assemble Electrical Panels.
  • Wire components on Electrical Panels and enclosures.
  • Wire components on enclosures.
  • Install dead-front panels into enclosures.
  • Communicate with the electrical designer to clarify any issues or relay any corrections or changes to the electrical design.
  • Use trial and error and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Check parts out from stock as needed.
  • Follow safety procedures and company policies for equipment and tool operation.
  • Use of multimeters and basic hand tools to assemble and build products.
  • Operate and maintain necessary machinery and equipment
  • Following production guidelines and specification to meet on time delivery expectation
  • Maintaining a clean workstation
  • Reporting any issues to the supervisory on duty
  • Performing other tasks as assigned

Knowledge and Experience

  • GED or High school diploma
  • Able to use hand tools
  • Computer Literate
  • Basic Math Skills
  • Able to lift or move up to 75lbs
  • 1+ year of electrical or wiring experience.
