Lyons Magnus is seeking an Electrical & Instrumentation Maintenance Technician to work on night shift.
Job Summary
The Electrical and instrumentation Maintenance Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing industrial equipment and machinery used in a food manufacturing environment.
Pay Range: $33.00-$38.00/ per hour
Schedule/Shift: 4 days/ 12 hour days or 5 days/ 8 hours - Night shift
Must be open to working overtime.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Analyze and resolve electrical and controls issues with manufacturing equipment and facility utilities
- Program and replace variable frequency drives, DC drives, and servos
- Go online with PLC programs to troubleshoot industrial equipment
- Test Ethernet/IP network communications
- Diagnose and resolve problems with robotics
- Calibrate, test, and replace process sensors and instrumentation
- Complete assigned preventative maintenance tasks
- Identify opportunities to improve machine reliability
- Submit time and material consumption into a computerized maintenance management software (CMMS)
- Actively participate in company safety procedures and policies including LOTO and arc flash protection
- Communicate effectively with operators and maintenance personnel
Requirements
Education and/or Experience
- High school degree or equivalent
- Two-year technical degree or 5+ years experience in an electrical maintenance role
- 3-5 years of industrial experience in the food and beverage manufacturing industry
