Job Description:Description: *This role is on-site in Seattle, WA. We are seeking an Electrical Hardware Technician to validate Electrical Hardware, firmware and parameter sets to deliver a best in class user experience for our riders. They should take ownership of their shop and equipment and take pride in their testing and ability to root out issues. We are seeking candidates that have an ability to understand the real world use mode with the bigger picture in mind. We are not looking for someone to mindlessly test, we seek someone who is curious, takes ownership and seeks solutions to the problems they uncover. The salary for this role is between $70,000 - $95,000/yr; however, we consider several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.Requirements: Why You’re Rad (about you): 5+ years of experience building, reworking, installing and modifying electrical harnesses, electrical components and electromechanical equipment as well as appropriate test fixtures.Demonstrated understanding of core electrical engineering principles - AC/DC circuits, brushless DC motors, sensors, motor controllers, and power suppliesExperience with laboratory equipment such as power supplies, e-loads, oscilloscopes, dynamometer, and data acquisition systems.Experience identifying, specifying, ordering and evaluating key workshop hardware, tools, equipment and electrical components to support product development and validationExperience implementing & iterating processes that support electrical product design, development, testing & qualificationProven ability to complete and accurately record validation and verification testing by following documented procedures. Excellent cross-functional communication skills with engineers, project managers, designers and suppliers. Experience managing costs and ensuring projects stay within scope for on-time deliveryProven ability to design tests to uncover issues a user could experience in the real world. Candidate must have great experience at documenting and ability to make recommendations to the team and/or suppliers to amend any issues. (5) Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information that we have collected from you for purposes other than those business purposes permitted under Section 1798.121 of the CPRA and therefore do not provide a method to limit such activities. For requests to correct, we may require you to provide additional documentation to rebut any of our own documentation that the personal information that you are requesting to correct is accurate. No later than 10 business days after receiving your request, we will confirm receipt of the request and provide information about how we will process the request. We will endeavor to respond to a verifiable consumer request within 45 calendar days of its receipt. If we require more time (we may take up to 45 additional days), we will inform you of the reason and extension period in writing. If we cannot verify the request within the 45 calendar days, we may deny the request. If we deny your request, we will inform you of the reason for its denial.
