Schedule: 8-hour shift
Work Location: Hybrid Position -Remote and Office Hours
Salary: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00

Primary Responsibilities:
· Conduct manual take-offs for all lighting fixtures, providing an itemized count per fixture type for submission to vendors for quotes, along with accompanying drawings. Confirm whether vendors offer storage for fixtures and inquire about any associated costs for storage and delivery.
· Forward lighting drawings to vendors for quotes on lighting controls, ensuring that pricing includes system programming, especially when a head-end unit is necessary.
· Share one-line diagrams and drawings with vendors to obtain quotes for the gear package. Confirm the possibility of vendors storing gear and delivering it as needed, and inquire about any additional costs.
· Provide site drawings to concrete contractors, including pole base details for auguring, pouring, setting anchor bolts, and finishing concrete parking lot lighting pole bases. Perform a manual take-off to determine the quantity of bases for the concrete contractor.
· Obtain pricing for crane services required to set parking lot pole lights.
· Request quotes for trencher rental, preferably a ride-on trencher, for installing parking lot lights. Alternatively, seek subcontractor pricing for trenching the entire linear footage of pole bases for larger projects.
· Secure a quote for a mini-excavator for installing conduits to the main SES or consider subcontractor pricing for a day of excavation work.
· If trenching/excavation occurs under sidewalks and/or parking lots, calculate pricing for loads of gravel brought in and spoils hauled out.
· Assess temporary power requirements and obtain quotes for necessary items such as building power, job trailer power, and lights.
· Obtain a quote for Hi-Pot testing if specified in the drawings.
· Provide a quote for an electrical utility transformer pad if specified in the drawings.
· Seek subcontractor pricing for fire alarm installation if required under the electrical bid scope.
· Obtain subcontractor pricing for voice, data, and security installations if required under the electrical bid scope.
Education and Experience:
· High School Diploma or GED (preferred)
· Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field experience
· Must be proficient with McCormick estimating software
· Minimum 5+ years of experience with electrical estimating
Qualification, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
· Proficient in project assessment
· Able to collaborate effectively with Project Managers and General Managers
· Skilled at analyzing comprehensive project data, encompassing materials, equipment, labor, subcontractor costs, etc., to formulating a comprehensive job budget
· Capable of coordinating with the estimating coordinator/GM assistant to manage procurement logs
· Demonstrate adept use of Microsoft Office
· Possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Minimum Requirements:
