Job Summary
Provide Electrical Engineering support by troubleshooting, assisting with maintenance on electrical components, systems and equipment. Data collection and focusing on continuous improvement.
Job Duties
- Assist in troubleshooting and maintenance of infrastructure controls, electrical distribution and systems, repair and replacement of defective components.
- Provide Electrical Engineering support as it pertains to PLC programming and controls engineering.
- Support and manage the analysis of data collection during energy measurements and audit engagements.
- Assist with the configuration of control platforms which include PLCs, HMIs and other.
- Maintain open and effective communication with management and team members.
- Presentation/report on improvement project(s) at the end of internship.
- Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately.
- Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.).
- Adhere to all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience and Education
- Actively pursuing a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology or related field. Must be junior/senior classification.
- Self-motivated and attention to detail
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Powerpoint, Excel, Word), AutoCad/Solidworks
- Perform work under direct supervision
- Handle basic issues and problems and refer more complex issues to higher-level staff

- Must be mechanically inclined
- Knowledge of/experience with electronic test equipment
- Familiarity with common tools
