Job Description
As a Machine Control Specialist (also known as Control Systems Engineer, Automation Technician), you'll develop, build, and maintain machine controls, instrumentation, heating, and automation systems. You'll troubleshoot and repair electrical/electronic systems for a variety of equipment, including centerless grinders, cutoff equipment, super finishing machines, furnaces, and sorting equipment. You'll also work with various controllers to monitor, modify, and create PLC/HMI programs.

- Engineering degree or equivalent combination of education, experience, and technical training.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in 3-phase power, low level, TTL, and CMOS circuitry, industrial setup and installation, printed circuit board diagnosis and repair, and programming industrial controllers and PC computers.
- Experience with Allen Bradley, Siemens, and GE Fanuc, high frequency power supply and Controls troubleshooting, servo motor drives and Controls, and control panel design and building.
- Proficiency in electrical schematics, electrical troubleshooting skills, and PLC programming.
- Strong communication, organization, and procedural skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, walk long distances, climb ladders and stairways, stoop, bend, sit, and lift heavy objects.
