We are an MEP Engineering firm in Houston TX. We are looking to hire an experienced Electrical Engineering Designer at our Houston office.
Design experience in multi-family, mixed-use projects and some commercial retail preferred
The Electrical Designer will have 3 years or more experience in the preparation of power and lighting plans, mechanical coordination, panels schedules, one line diagrams, load and fault current calculations from design development to submittal for permitting while managing multiple projects and deadlines. Must have a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering

- Experience in electrical drafting, designing and documentation for multi-family, mixed-use projects
- Preparation of power and lighting plans, panels schedules, load and fault current calculations
- Design development to submittals for permitting while managing multiple projects and deadlines.
- Assembling organized sets of MEP drawings, including HVAC system designs and calculations
- Must be proficient in AutoCAD/Revit
- Knowledge of local and state building codes would be preferred. Electrical system design including lighting and power distribution systems.
- Self-motivated, strong work ethic
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written & verbal communications skills
- BSEE with experience
- Good background in mathematics
This is NOT a remote job. This is Full-Time in our office Monday through Friday
Salary depends upon experience
