What You Will Bring:
- Minimum 15 years of experience in Electrical Intensive power electronic conversion design and operations (Chlore Alkali, Aluminum smelting, Copper treatment, Traction, Large Variable speed). This shall include a proven experience in grid and multi-disciplinary plant design integration.
- Master’s Degree in Engineering ideal
- Experience in commissioning and operations would be preferred.
- Experience with US standards and equipment is mandatory.
- Knowledge/experience with IEC standards would be a plus/ Experience in Energy and Oil&Gas project extensions would be a plus
- Electrical High Power conversion expertise, US experience, Autonomy,
- Ability to adapt and to represent the company in discussions/negotiations with contractors, Ability to report and measure the overall project impacts of key electrical concerns to project Management.
INTERNATIONAL CONSIDERATION:
The Electrical Engineer reports directly to the Engineering Lead and liaises with project team members and the specialists from OneTech Technical Lines.
- They are the focal point of the project, consolidating the timeline, reporting and priorities
- They are the representative of TL E&R/industrial Electricity to the project, contractors and vendors
- They ensure coherence of the whole study and of interface data between stakeholders, in particular the plant electrical power system study, power quality performances and overall grid compliance.
- responsible for the proper sequence of engineering design and reporting safety, quality, cost and planning impacts with a focus on electrical equipment supply chain.
