We are searching for a highly motivated Product Support Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role demands an individual with a strong Electrical Engineering background and proficiency in design CAD software to provide exceptional support to our customers. You will be the bridge between customers experiencing technical difficulties and our internal engineering teams, leveraging your skills to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with confidence.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional technical support to customers via phone, email, and chat, addressing electrical and product-related inquiries.
- Utilize your Electrical Engineering knowledge to diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues related to our products.
- Effectively analyze customer problems to identify root causes and develop solutions efficiently.
- Leverage your design CAD expertise to review and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and 3D models when needed.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., engineering, product management) to improve product functionality and user experience.
- Proactively identify potential product issues and recommend preventative measures.
- Stay up-to-date on new product features, updates, and relevant regulations.
- Maintain and update knowledge base articles and FAQs, ensuring clear and accurate information.
- Document all interactions and resolutions for future reference.
- Escalate complex issues to the appropriate engineering teams when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 1+ years of experience in a technical support role or a similar environment.
- Demonstrated experience in applying Electrical Engineering principles to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges.
- Proficiency in using design CAD software like SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar programs.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and creatively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to exceeding customer expectations.
