Description/Job Summary
RMF Engineering is seeking an Electrical Designerwith some experience designing power, lighting, and fire-alarm systems for complex building systems in a consulting environment. This role is located at our headquarters office in Baltimore, MD.
Position Description:
- Electrical systems design and engineering for complex building systems including power, fire-alarm, and lighting.
- Multi-trade coordination, schedules, single line diagrams.
- Construction administration assistance for electrical systems including submittal review, RFI's, coordination, and punchouts.
Position Requirements:
- 0-10 years of experience
- Strong teamwork and communications skills
- Some experience working with architects and other MEP design trades
- Some experience with AutoCAD and Revit
- Generating construction documents and specifications
- Knowledge of National Electric Code (NEC) and standard industry design practices
- Some experience in consulting including design and construction administration.
- A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED
