We are seeking an experienced Electrical Assembly Technician to join our team. You must be able to read and interpret complex wiring diagrams, prints, process sheets and wire lists to build harnesses and cables of high complexity. Must be familiar with mil spec connectors, contacts and terminals, as well as experienced with all types of coax wires and coax connectors. Using a testing meter to perform continuity checks. Able to utilize all assembly tools such as soldering irons, crimp tools, pliers, cutters, insertion and removal tools and shop equipment. Understanding of high voltage and low voltage systems. Be able to troubleshoot and repair electrical malfunctions or defects.
Previous experience in Electrical Assembly or a related field is required.
Must be able to:
- Read and comprehend detailed drawings, bills of material, and electrical diagrams
- Be able to work through and digest process, part, and military specifications
- Use excel efficiently
Preferred:
- 3D modeling experience (experience with fusion360 is nice, but not necessary)
- Harness assembly experience
- Experience with testing electrical assemblies (hi pot, continuity, insertion loss, etc) is highly desired
- Creating detailed drawings
