SalaryJob Summary: We are seeking an experienced Alarm Technician to join our team. As an Alarm Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various alarm systems. This is a hands-on role that requires technical expertise and a strong attention to detail. Responsibilities: - Install, program, and test fire alarm systems in accordance with industry standards and regulations - Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of alarm systems to ensure proper functioning - Troubleshoot and repair any issues or malfunctions with alarm systems - Collaborate with clients to determine their specific needs and provide recommendations for alarm system solutions - Create detailed schematics and diagrams for the installation of alarm systems - Keep accurate records of all work performed, including service reports and inventory management - Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and codes Experience: - Previous experience in fire alarm sales, installation, or service technician role is preferred - Proficient in using power tools and other equipment necessary for alarm system installation - Knowledge of CAD software for creating schematics and diagrams - Familiarity with construction inspection processes and requirements - Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) - Mechanical knowledge to handle physical installation tasks Skills: - Excellent problem-solving skills to detect and resolve issues with alarm systems - Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate installation and maintenance of alarm systems - Effective communication skills to collaborate with clients and team members - Ability to work independently or as part of a team If you are a skilled Alarm Technician looking for a challenging role in a dynamic environment, we would love to hear from you.
