Gather technical requirements, design, and develop GM Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) (passenger car, truck and sport utility vehicle) embedded software for Electric Drive Unit (DU) Motor Inverter Hardware Feedback (MIHF), in Embedded C and C++ programming languages, using Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, Eclipse Integrated Development Environment (IDE), Artifactory, IBM Rational Team Concert, IBM Rational Rhapsody Developer, and Model Development Kit (MDK) tools, and Lauterbach Trace 32 hardware, following Motor Industry Software Reliability Association (MISRA) CERT C standards, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), and GM software development process. Perform embedded ECU testing on test bench and in vehicle using SPACE Hardware in the Loop (HIL), ETAS INCA, and Lauterbach Trace 32 hardware, to verify functionality at Function, Controller and System levels prior to production release. Perform peer reviews and unit level testing using C++ Unit (CppU) Tests for Multiple Condition Coverage (MCC) and Modified Condition/Decision Coverage (MCDC) to reduce rework requests and achieve zero software defects.
Additional Description
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, and one (1) year of experience as an Engineer or related Experience with: performing embedded ECU testing on test bench and in vehicle using dSPACE Hardware in the Loop (HIL) and ETAS INCA, to verify functionality at Function, Controller and System levels prior to production release.
